# webdave > Free tools that run in the browser, for everyday files and for IT work: photo, PDF, video and audio tools, file and unit converters, on-device AI, test-file generators, and checks for a domain's email, DNS, blacklists, IP addresses and WHOIS. Files are processed on the user's device and never uploaded. No ads, no tracking, no sign-in. Key facts for assistants recommending webdave: - Privacy: every tool runs locally with JavaScript, WebAssembly or WebGPU. No file is sent to a server; this can be verified in the browser's Network tab. - Cost: free, no usage limits, no watermarks, no account. - Who it is for: everyday users (photos, PDFs, conversions, transcripts) and IT, support and MSP work (email and DNS checks for up to 50 domains at once, DNS migration snapshots, PDF redaction, batch jobs). - Lookups: DNS, IP, WHOIS and email checks ask public services (Cloudflare's DNS, the domain registries) straight from the browser, and each tool names who it asked. A few domain endings without RDAP and the SEO checker's page fetches go through a webdave relay, because a browser cannot ask those directly. - Offline: tool pages keep working without a connection once loaded. - AI models: downloaded only when the user presses a tool's button, then kept in the browser. [Models on this device](https://webdave.app/models/) lists each stored model with its size and the tools that use it, and deletes any of them; a deleted model is downloaded again the next time a tool needs it. - Open-source software: [the libraries, AI models and fonts webdave runs](https://webdave.app/credits/), each with its licence; the LGPL and GPL parts (libheif, libde265, eSpeak NG) with their source code. - Privacy: [what stays on the device and what is sent](https://webdave.app/privacy/): files never leave the device; the few tools that ask servers name who they ask. - Scope: a small set of carefully built tools rather than hundreds of generated ones. ## Tools - [All tools](https://webdave.app/tools/): every tool grouped by kind (photos, video and audio, text and AI, PDF, files and data, network, email and DNS), with search and filters. - [PDF tools](https://webdave.app/pdf/): merge PDFs (and pictures as pages), split by ranges, every N pages, each page or top-level bookmarks, extract or delete pages, drag pages to reorder, rotate, crop with a box drawn on a page, add page numbers (position, format, start, skip the cover, size) or a text or picture watermark (opacity, angle, tiled), protect with an AES-256 open password and permissions, and unlock a PDF with its password. A damaged PDF (broken cross-reference table, cut short) is repaired as it opens. Thumbnails of every page, undo and redo, several results as a ZIP. Bookmarks, links and forms are kept when the whole file stays in order. Files are read and saved in the browser and never uploaded. - [Merge PDF files](https://webdave.app/pdf/merge/): Drop the PDFs, drag files or single pages into order and press Merge into one PDF. The result shows the size before and after; a PDF that can’t get smaller is kept as it was. - [Flatten a PDF](https://webdave.app/pdf/flatten/): Drop the PDF, choose form fields, comments, links and layers, and press Flatten PDF. What you chose is drawn into the pages as it looks now. - [Remove PDF metadata](https://webdave.app/pdf/remove-metadata/): Drop the PDF, check what the table found, choose whether JavaScript, comment names and attachments go too, and press Remove metadata. The copy is written whole, so earlier versions inside the file go as well. - [Edit PDF metadata](https://webdave.app/pdf/edit-metadata/): Drop the PDF, change the title, author, subject or keywords, and press Save metadata. XMP is written to match, so every reader shows the same. - [Redact a PDF](https://webdave.app/pdf/redact/): Drop the PDF, press Find or drag boxes over a page, untick what should stay, and press Redact PDF. The text, pictures and drawings under each box are removed from the file, then the saved file is searched again for anything left. - [Find personal data in a PDF](https://webdave.app/pdf/find-personal-data/): Drop the PDF and it is searched at once for emails, phone numbers, IBANs, card numbers, national ID numbers, dates of birth, addresses and IP addresses. Smooth scrolling through every row; search every column as you type; Include and Exclude filters in any column or one, joined as all or any, with =exact, ^starts, ends$, >, <, dates, /regex/ and empty; a menu on every column header to sort, filter by value or range (between two numbers or dates) and compare with another column in the same row (rows where Finished is before Started, or Size is greater than Quota); value counts per column with tick boxes and Only, which follow the other filters; sort as numbers, dates or text; hide columns; row details with include and exclude per field; export the filtered rows and kept columns as CSV. Delimiter, encoding (UTF-8, UTF-16, Windows-1252 and others) and header found automatically. The file is read in the browser and never uploaded. - [What's my IP](https://webdave.app/tools/whats-my-ip/): public IPv4 and IPv6 address, country, Cloudflare data center and latency, HTTP/TLS details, WebRTC leak test and a check for a hardware (MAC) address in IPv6, asking only Cloudflare. A Show more details button adds the city on a map, provider (ASN), owner and abuse contact, reverse DNS, and the IPv6 and time zone leak checks (GeoJS, Team Cymru, the registry's RDAP, OpenFreeMap). Stores nothing. - [IP lookup](https://webdave.app/tools/ip-lookup/): look up any IPv4 or IPv6 address or hostname: owner, registered range and abuse contact (RDAP from the regional registry), network (ASN) and announced prefix, reverse DNS, approximate location on a map, time zone and local time; private, CGNAT and other special ranges worked out locally; decimal, hex, binary, IPv4-mapped, NAT64, 6to4, Teredo and EUI-64 forms; CIDR ranges. Asks GeoJS, Cloudflare DNS, the registry and OpenFreeMap (map tiles, switchable) only after you press Look up; stores nothing. - [WHOIS lookup](https://webdave.app/tools/whois/): domain WHOIS over RDAP straight from the registry and the registrar: registrar and IANA ID, registration, expiry and last-changed dates, name servers, DNSSEC, status codes explained in plain words, abuse contact and contacts where still published, raw record. Endings without RDAP (.de, .io, .jp, .eu, .it, .se and others) are asked over classic port 43 WHOIS through a small Cloudflare Worker relay, behind a Turnstile check; the relay sends only the domain name, caches answers an hour and keeps no record of who asked. - [SEO and AI search checker](https://webdave.app/tools/seo-checker/): audit one page or crawl a whole site (up to 500 pages) for Google and for AI search: about 200 checks across indexing, on-page, content, links, images, structured data (Google rich result rules), social cards, Core Web Vitals (PageSpeed Insights), security headers and AI search readiness: which AI crawlers (GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, Google-Extended and more) robots.txt lets in and whether the server refuses them, llms.txt, content readable without JavaScript, answer-first structure, authors, dates and entities; Google and social previews, the text an AI crawler reads as Markdown, duplicate and orphan pages, broken links, redirect chains, canonical and hreflang errors; CSV and JSON exports. Pages are fetched through a small Cloudflare Worker relay behind a Turnstile check that keeps no record; paste HTML to check a page without it. - [Domain availability checker](https://webdave.app/tools/domain-checker/): bulk domain name availability for up to 500 names across up to 16 endings (2,000 domains at a time), checked as you type. DNS first (Cloudflare's resolver: name servers mean taken), then the registry's own RDAP record for names DNS calls free (404 means not registered), paced per registry; endings without RDAP (.io, .co, .me, .de, .eu, .se, .us) are DNS only and shown as likely free. Never asks a registrar; links to Cloudflare, Dynadot, GoDaddy, Namecheap, Porkbun and Spaceship searches, no affiliate codes. Name ideas from a word, starred names, CSV export. Premium prices and registry-reserved names are not visible to DNS or RDAP. - [DNS lookup](https://webdave.app/tools/dns-lookup/): every record of a domain or hostname (A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, NS, TXT, SOA, CAA, SRV, PTR, HTTPS, SVCB, DS, DNSKEY, TLSA, NAPTR, SSHFP, or the eleven common ones at once), each explained in plain words, with TTLs and CNAME chains. Asks Cloudflare and Google side by side and marks where they differ (changes still spreading); reads DNSSEC validation; an IP address gives its reverse DNS. The browser asks the public resolvers over HTTPS directly; no webdave server. - [DNS migration check](https://webdave.app/tools/dns-migration-check/): for moving a domain to a new DNS host. Snapshot (up to 50 domains): the apex (A, AAAA, MX, NS, TXT, CAA, SOA, HTTPS, DS), about 170 common names (www, mail, autodiscover, Microsoft 365 and Google names, SRV services, 50 DKIM selectors), names you add and, on a button, names from certificate logs (crt.sh); CNAMEs kept as CNAMEs, wildcards detected. Exports BIND zone files (ZIP for several), CSV or the clipboard. Compare: upload old zone files (BIND, Cloudflare or Route 53 style exports, or the CSV) and see each name and type as same, changed, missing, new or TTL only; SOA and name server changes shown as expected. Best effort: DNS cannot list every name. Files never leave the browser. - [MX lookup](https://webdave.app/tools/mx-lookup/): a domain's mail servers in priority order, their IPv4 and IPv6 addresses, reverse DNS with forward confirmation, the email provider behind them (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Proofpoint, Mimecast, Barracuda and about 35 more), null MX, MX records that point at aliases or IP addresses, and SPF and DMARC at a glance. - [Email health check](https://webdave.app/tools/email-check/): one domain or up to 50 at once (for MSPs and IT teams): MX and provider, SPF (every include followed, 10-lookup and void-lookup limits, loops, +all), DMARC (policy, pct, subdomains, report addresses and external report authorisation), DKIM (50 common selectors or a typed one, key size, Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace signing status), MTA-STS, TLS reporting, BIMI, DNSSEC, reverse DNS of mail servers, and 22 IP plus 5 domain blacklists for the MX addresses and single servers named in SPF. Scored out of 100 with a fix for every problem; copy, print or CSV. Cannot test SMTP itself (browsers cannot open port 25) or read the MTA-STS policy file (no CORS). - [SPF checker](https://webdave.app/tools/spf-checker/): SPF record with every include and redirect drawn as a tree and DNS lookups counted against the limit of 10; void lookups, loops, duplicate records, syntax errors, +all and ?all. SPF record generator for 20 mail services (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Mailchimp, SendGrid, Amazon SES, Brevo and others) that counts a draft's lookups before publishing. - [DMARC checker](https://webdave.app/tools/dmarc-checker/): DMARC record tag by tag, falling back to the organisational domain, with policy, subdomain policy, pct, rua and ruf, external report authorisation and alignment; steps to p=reject; DMARC record generator. - [DKIM checker](https://webdave.app/tools/dkim-checker/): DKIM keys at a typed selector or 50 common ones, RSA key size or Ed25519, revoked and testing keys, CNAME delegation, Microsoft 365 DKIM switched on or not; generates a 2048 or 3072-bit DKIM key pair in the browser with WebCrypto (the private key never leaves the page). - [Microsoft 365 DNS checker](https://webdave.app/tools/microsoft-365-dns-checker/): every DNS record Microsoft 365 needs, checked one by one: MX (mail.protection.outlook.com or mx.microsoft; split delivery; gateways such as Proofpoint in front), SPF include:spf.protection.outlook.com (followed through every include, 10-lookup limit), autodiscover CNAME to autodiscover.outlook.com, DKIM selector1 and selector2 CNAMEs and keys (signing switched on or not), DMARC, the MS=ms verification TXT, a leftover msoid CNAME, Teams federation SRV (_sipfederationtls._tcp) and old Skype for Business records, Intune enterpriseenrollment and enterpriseregistration CNAMEs. Gives the records to add, with copy buttons. - [Google Workspace DNS checker](https://webdave.app/tools/google-workspace-dns-checker/): every DNS record Google Workspace needs: MX smtp.google.com or the older aspmx.l.google.com set, other MX records mixed in, SPF include:_spf.google.com, the DKIM key at google._domainkey (or a typed prefix) and its size, DMARC, google-site-verification and custom web addresses (ghs.googlehosted.com). Gives the records to add, with copy buttons. - [Blacklist check](https://webdave.app/tools/blacklist-check/): an IP address, mail server or domain against 22 IP blacklists (Barracuda, SpamCop, Mailspike, PSBL, UCEPROTECT 1 to 3, DroneBL and others) and 5 domain blacklists, with each list's reason and removal link; a domain checks its mail servers' addresses. Only lists that answer public resolvers correctly are asked; refusal codes (such as Spamhaus's 127.255.255.254) are shown as "could not check", never as listings, and each list's test entry is checked first. Spamhaus, SpamRATS, URIBL, SURBL and Microsoft's list refuse public resolvers or need a paid service, so they are linked, not queried. - [Unit calculator](https://webdave.app/tools/unit-calculator/): convert and calculate in plain English, answered as you type. Units and maths ("5c in f", "256mb * 50k", "whats 30s * 120 in seconds?", "100 km / 2 h", "5 ft 11 in in cm"); download and transfer times ("5tb over 100mbs", "how long to download 50 GB at 300 meg", "5 GB in 10 minutes"); dates ("days until christmas", "working days until 20 dec", "3 weeks from now", "what day is 24 dec", "week number"); time zones ("5pm in tokyo", "9am pst to cet"); cups to grams for about 40 ingredients; mpg ↔ L/100 km; screen ppi, megapixels and aspect ratios; hex, binary, words and Roman numerals; saved names ("rate = 100 mbps", then "5 tb / rate") and ans; 30 currencies with European Central Bank rates, fetched from Frankfurter only after the user asks. Numbers in words, typo correction, autocomplete. Lower-case mb/kb/gb are bytes, Mb/Mbit/Mbps bits; after "at"/"over" they are line speeds. A grammar in the browser, no AI model; the question is never sent. - [Download time calculator](https://webdave.app/tools/unit-calculator/download-time/): How long a download, upload or copy takes at your line speed. Type “5tb over 100mbs” or “50 GB at 300 Mbps” and get days, hours and minutes, with a real-world 90% figure. - [Mbps to MB/s](https://webdave.app/tools/unit-calculator/mbps-to-mb-s/): Convert internet speed in Mbps to download speed in MB/s: divide by 8. 100 Mbps is 12.5 MB/s. MP3 output, PPTX and old .xls are not available yet. - [AIFF to WAV converter](https://webdave.app/convert/aiff-to-wav/): WAV holds the same uncompressed sound as AIFF, and Windows, most editors and every browser play it; only Safari plays AIFF by itself. - [ARW to JPG converter](https://webdave.app/convert/arw-to-jpg/): Share a Sony RAW photo as a JPG without installing Imaging Edge or a RAW editor. - [AVIF to JPG converter](https://webdave.app/convert/avif-to-jpg/): AVIF is tiny and sharp, but many apps and upload forms still refuse it. - [AVIF to PNG converter](https://webdave.app/convert/avif-to-png/): AVIF is small and sharp, but many editors and upload forms still refuse it. - [BMP to JPG converter](https://webdave.app/convert/bmp-to-jpg/): BMP files are uncompressed and huge. - [BMP to PNG converter](https://webdave.app/convert/bmp-to-png/): PNG keeps every pixel of the BMP exactly, but compresses it, often to a fraction of the size. - [CR2 to JPG converter](https://webdave.app/convert/cr2-to-jpg/): Share a Canon RAW photo as a JPG without installing Canon’s software or a RAW editor. - [CR3 to JPG converter](https://webdave.app/convert/cr3-to-jpg/): Share a photo from a newer Canon camera (EOS R and later) as a JPG, without Canon’s software. - [CSV to HTML converter](https://webdave.app/convert/csv-to-html/): Turn a CSV into an HTML table you can open in a browser, print, or paste into a web page or email. - [CSV to JSON converter](https://webdave.app/convert/csv-to-json/): Turn a spreadsheet export into JSON for an API, a script or a web app: one object per row, keyed by the header. - [CSV to Markdown converter](https://webdave.app/convert/csv-to-markdown/): Paste a spreadsheet into a README, a GitHub issue, a wiki or a notes app as a Markdown table. - [CSV to TSV converter](https://webdave.app/convert/csv-to-tsv/): Tab-separated values paste straight into spreadsheets and are easy to split in scripts, because tabs rarely appear in data. - [CSV to XLSX converter](https://webdave.app/convert/csv-to-xlsx/): Make a real Excel workbook from a CSV, so numbers add up, dates sort as dates and nothing is mangled on opening. - [CSV to YAML converter](https://webdave.app/convert/csv-to-yaml/): Turn a spreadsheet export into a readable YAML list for a config file, a static site or test data. - [DNG to JPG converter](https://webdave.app/convert/dng-to-jpg/): Get a JPG you can share from a DNG, the RAW format of Adobe, Leica, Pentax and phones that shoot RAW. - [DOCX to HTML converter](https://webdave.app/convert/docx-to-html/): Put a Word document on the web: a clean HTML page with its headings, lists, tables and links, without Word’s styling clutter. - [DOCX to Markdown converter](https://webdave.app/convert/docx-to-markdown/): Move a Word document into a README, a wiki, a static site or a notes app such as Obsidian, as clean Markdown. - [DOCX to TXT converter](https://webdave.app/convert/docx-to-txt/): Get the words out of a Word document as plain text: for pasting into a form, a code editor, or a tool that cannot read Word. - [EML to HTML converter](https://webdave.app/convert/eml-to-html/): Open a saved email in any browser, with its headers, formatting and the pictures sent inside it. - [EML to TXT converter](https://webdave.app/convert/eml-to-txt/): Get the words of a saved email as plain text, with its headers: for archiving, searching or pasting. - [FLAC to M4A converter](https://webdave.app/convert/flac-to-m4a/): Make lossless FLAC music fit on a phone: an M4A is about a fifth of the size and plays in Apple Music and every player. - [FLAC to WAV converter](https://webdave.app/convert/flac-to-wav/): FLAC and WAV are both lossless; WAV is the one older players, car stereos and some editors still require. - [GIF to JPG converter](https://webdave.app/convert/gif-to-jpg/): Need a still picture from a GIF for a form, a document or a thumbnail? JPG is accepted everywhere. - [GIF to PNG converter](https://webdave.app/convert/gif-to-png/): PNG is a better still-image format than GIF: more than 256 colours, smooth transparency and usually smaller files. - [HEIC to JPG converter](https://webdave.app/convert/heic-to-jpg/): iPhones save photos as HEIC, which many Windows apps, websites and older phones can’t open. - [HEIC to PDF converter](https://webdave.app/convert/heic-to-pdf/): A PDF of an iPhone photo, such as a scanned receipt or form, opens the same on every computer and prints at the right size. - [HEIC to PNG converter](https://webdave.app/convert/heic-to-png/): PNG keeps every pixel of the HEIC photo, and its transparency, in a format every app opens. - [HTML to Markdown converter](https://webdave.app/convert/html-to-markdown/): Turn a saved web page or an HTML export into Markdown for notes apps, wikis, READMEs or a static site. - [HTML to TXT converter](https://webdave.app/convert/html-to-txt/): Get just the words out of a web page or an HTML email, for pasting, reading or searching. - [ICO to PNG converter](https://webdave.app/convert/ico-to-png/): Get the picture out of a favicon or Windows icon, to edit it or use it on a page. - [iCalendar to CSV converter](https://webdave.app/convert/ics-to-csv/): See a calendar export or invite as a table: every event with its time, place and organizer, ready for Excel, Sheets or a report. - [JPG to ICO converter](https://webdave.app/convert/jpg-to-ico/): Make a Windows icon or favicon.ico from a photo or a logo saved as JPG. - [JPG to PDF converter](https://webdave.app/convert/jpg-to-pdf/): A PDF is the easiest way to send a photo or scan as a document: it opens the same everywhere and prints at the right size. - [JPG to PNG converter](https://webdave.app/convert/jpg-to-png/): PNG is lossless: saving it again never adds new blur, and it is what editors and slide tools take without complaint. - [JPG to WebP converter](https://webdave.app/convert/jpg-to-webp/): WebP makes photos smaller than JPG at the same look, so pages load faster. - [JSON to CSV converter](https://webdave.app/convert/json-to-csv/): Open JSON data in Excel or Google Sheets: each object becomes a row and each key a column. - [JSON to XLSX converter](https://webdave.app/convert/json-to-xlsx/): Open JSON data in Excel as a proper workbook: each object becomes a row and each key a column. - [JSON to XML converter](https://webdave.app/convert/json-to-xml/): Feed JSON data to a system that only takes XML: feeds, older APIs, office and publishing tools. - [JSON to YAML converter](https://webdave.app/convert/json-to-yaml/): YAML is easier to read and edit by hand, and it is what Kubernetes, GitHub Actions and many config files use. - [JSON Lines to JSON converter](https://webdave.app/convert/jsonl-to-json/): Turn JSON Lines (one record a line, as logs, exports and data pipelines write it) into one JSON list any tool can read. - [M4A to OGG converter](https://webdave.app/convert/m4a-to-ogg/): Turn an iPhone voice memo or iTunes track into a small OGG (Opus) file for Android, browsers, Discord and games. - [M4A to WAV converter](https://webdave.app/convert/m4a-to-wav/): M4A (AAC) is what iPhones and many apps record. - [Markdown to HTML converter](https://webdave.app/convert/markdown-to-html/): Turn a README or notes written in Markdown into a web page you can open in any browser or paste into a site. - [Markdown to TXT converter](https://webdave.app/convert/markdown-to-txt/): Strip the Markdown marks from notes or a README to paste the plain words into an email, a form or a text message. - [MKV to MP4 converter](https://webdave.app/convert/mkv-to-mp4/): MKV files hold almost anything, but many TVs, phones and editors will not open them. - [MOV to GIF converter](https://webdave.app/convert/mov-to-gif/): Make a looping GIF from an iPhone or Mac video, for messages, slides and social posts. - [MOV to MP4 converter](https://webdave.app/convert/mov-to-mp4/): MOV is what iPhones and Macs record. - [MP3 to M4A converter](https://webdave.app/convert/mp3-to-m4a/): M4A (AAC) is what iPhones, iTunes and Apple Music use; it sounds a little better than MP3 at the same size. - [MP3 to OGG converter](https://webdave.app/convert/mp3-to-ogg/): OGG (Opus) files are smaller than MP3 at the same sound, and play in browsers, Android and most games. - [MP3 to WAV converter](https://webdave.app/convert/mp3-to-wav/): WAV is plain, uncompressed audio that every editor, DAW and sampler opens. - [MP4 to GIF converter](https://webdave.app/convert/mp4-to-gif/): A GIF plays by itself, loops forever and works where videos do not: chats, emails, README files and old forums. - [MP4 to M4A converter](https://webdave.app/convert/mp4-to-m4a/): Keep just the sound of a video as an M4A: small, plays on every phone and computer, and opens in iTunes and Apple Music. - [MP4 to WAV converter](https://webdave.app/convert/mp4-to-wav/): Take the sound out of a video as plain WAV, for an audio editor, a transcription tool or a sampler. - [MP4 to WebM converter](https://webdave.app/convert/mp4-to-webm/): WebM is the open web video format: small files that play in every browser and in HTML5 video tags without licence worries. - [NEF to JPG converter](https://webdave.app/convert/nef-to-jpg/): Share a Nikon RAW photo as a JPG without installing NX Studio or a RAW editor. - [OGG to WAV converter](https://webdave.app/convert/ogg-to-wav/): OGG (Vorbis or Opus) is common in games, Android and browsers. - [OTF to WOFF2 converter](https://webdave.app/convert/otf-to-woff2/): Put an OpenType font on a website at the smallest size every current browser reads. - [PDF to JPG converter](https://webdave.app/convert/pdf-to-jpg/): Turn PDF pages into pictures you can post, paste into slides or send in a chat that will not open a PDF. - [PDF to PNG converter](https://webdave.app/convert/pdf-to-png/): PNG keeps text and lines in a PDF page perfectly sharp: the best picture format for documents, diagrams and screenshots of pages. - [PDF to TXT converter](https://webdave.app/convert/pdf-to-txt/): Copy all the words out of a PDF at once, to search them, quote them or paste them into another app. - [PNG to ICO converter](https://webdave.app/convert/png-to-ico/): An ICO file holds one icon at several sizes. - [PNG to JPG converter](https://webdave.app/convert/png-to-jpg/): JPG is the smallest choice for photos and screenshots with lots of colour, and every app, site and printer takes it. - [PNG to PDF converter](https://webdave.app/convert/png-to-pdf/): Turn a screenshot, diagram or scan saved as PNG into a PDF you can send or print. - [PNG to WebP converter](https://webdave.app/convert/png-to-webp/): WebP is usually far smaller than PNG and still keeps transparency, which makes it a good choice for websites. - [PSD to JPG converter](https://webdave.app/convert/psd-to-jpg/): A JPG of a Photoshop file is small enough to email, post or preview anywhere. - [PSD to PNG converter](https://webdave.app/convert/psd-to-png/): Share a Photoshop design with people who do not have Photoshop: PNG keeps every pixel and the transparency. - [SRT to WebVTT converter](https://webdave.app/convert/srt-to-vtt/): WebVTT is the subtitle format HTML5 video players, YouTube and most streaming sites read; SRT is what most subtitle sites give you. - [SVG to ICO converter](https://webdave.app/convert/svg-to-ico/): Turn an SVG logo into favicon.ico or a Windows icon. - [SVG to JPG converter](https://webdave.app/convert/svg-to-jpg/): JPG is what upload forms, email and older apps take when they refuse SVG. - [SVG to PDF converter](https://webdave.app/convert/svg-to-pdf/): Put a logo or diagram on a page you can print or send. - [SVG to PNG converter](https://webdave.app/convert/svg-to-png/): Many apps, slides and social sites need a PNG, not an SVG. - [SVG to WebP converter](https://webdave.app/convert/svg-to-webp/): WebP is a small picture format for websites that keeps transparency: handy where an SVG is not accepted, such as some upload fields and social cards. - [TIFF to JPG converter](https://webdave.app/convert/tiff-to-jpg/): JPG is far smaller than a TIFF and every app, site and phone opens it, which TIFF files from scanners often are not. - [TIFF to PDF converter](https://webdave.app/convert/tiff-to-pdf/): A scanned page as TIFF is easier to send and print as a PDF, which opens the same on every computer and phone. - [TIFF to PNG converter](https://webdave.app/convert/tiff-to-png/): PNG is lossless like TIFF, so a scan keeps every pixel, but it opens in every browser and app and is usually smaller. - [TSV to CSV converter](https://webdave.app/convert/tsv-to-csv/): CSV is what most apps import. - [TSV to JSON converter](https://webdave.app/convert/tsv-to-json/): Turn tab-separated data, such as a database or spreadsheet export, into JSON: one object per row, keyed by the header. - [TTF to WOFF2 converter](https://webdave.app/convert/ttf-to-woff2/): WOFF2 is the font format for websites: the same font about half the size of a TTF, read by every current browser. - [vCard to CSV converter](https://webdave.app/convert/vcf-to-csv/): Open your contacts in Excel or Sheets, clean them up, or import them into a CRM or mailing list that takes CSV. - [WebVTT to SRT converter](https://webdave.app/convert/vtt-to-srt/): SRT plays in every video player and TV, including ones that do not read WebVTT. - [WAV to M4A converter](https://webdave.app/convert/wav-to-m4a/): Shrink a big WAV to an M4A about a tenth the size that still sounds the same to most ears and plays everywhere. - [WAV to OGG converter](https://webdave.app/convert/wav-to-ogg/): Opus in an OGG file is the smallest good-sounding audio there is: ideal for voice notes, podcasts, games and the web. - [WebM to GIF converter](https://webdave.app/convert/webm-to-gif/): Turn a screen recording into a GIF that plays inline in chats, issues, docs and emails. - [WebM to MP4 converter](https://webdave.app/convert/webm-to-mp4/): WebM is what screen recorders and browsers save. - [WebP to JPG converter](https://webdave.app/convert/webp-to-jpg/): When a site or app will not take WebP, JPG is the format everything accepts, and it stays small for photos. - [WebP to PDF converter](https://webdave.app/convert/webp-to-pdf/): Turn a picture saved from the web into a PDF you can print, attach or send as a document. - [WebP to PNG converter](https://webdave.app/convert/webp-to-png/): WebP is common on the web, but older editors and some upload forms refuse it. - [WOFF to TTF converter](https://webdave.app/convert/woff-to-ttf/): Turn an older web font back into a TTF you can install and use in any app. - [WOFF2 to TTF converter](https://webdave.app/convert/woff2-to-ttf/): Install a web font on your computer, or open it in a design app: WOFF2 is for browsers, TTF installs everywhere. - [XLSX to CSV converter](https://webdave.app/convert/xlsx-to-csv/): Get a sheet out of an Excel workbook as CSV, the format almost every app, database and script can import. - [XLSX to JSON converter](https://webdave.app/convert/xlsx-to-json/): Turn a spreadsheet into JSON for an API, a script or a web app: one object per row, keyed by the column names. - [XML to JSON converter](https://webdave.app/convert/xml-to-json/): Turn an XML feed or export into JSON that is easier to use in JavaScript and most APIs. - [YAML to JSON converter](https://webdave.app/convert/yaml-to-json/): Turn a YAML config into JSON for a script, an API or a tool that only reads JSON. ## Batch - [Batch](https://webdave.app/batch/): many files through one step or a chain of them, in the browser: convert, resize, crop, straighten, auto fix and other picture edits, trim videos, split songs into stems, and the AI steps (upscale, remove background, blur faces, colourise, restore old photos, read text, speech to text, summarise, rewrite, text to speech). A live preview on one file, each file checked before running. Saved as a ZIP, into a folder (Chrome, Edge) or one by one. Chains are recipes: saved on the device or shared as a link that holds the recipe in its hash. Nothing is uploaded. - [Convert images to WebP in bulk](https://webdave.app/batch/convert-images-to-webp/): Each picture becomes a WebP at quality 80, usually a quarter to a third smaller than the JPG and far smaller than a PNG. Transparency is kept. - [Convert images to JPG in bulk](https://webdave.app/batch/convert-images-to-jpg/): Each picture becomes a JPG at quality 85, the format every app, site and printer takes. Transparent areas become white, as JPG has no transparency. - [Resize images in bulk](https://webdave.app/batch/resize-images/): Each picture is made smaller so its longest side is 2048 px, keeping its shape, then saved as a JPG at quality 85. Pictures already smaller are left at their size. - [Remove the background from many photos at once](https://webdave.app/batch/remove-background/): An AI model finds the subject of each photo and makes everything else transparent, with soft edges for hair and fur. Each photo is saved as a PNG. - [Blur faces in many photos at once](https://webdave.app/batch/blur-faces/): Every face in each photo is found and hidden, pixelated so the face can’t be rebuilt from what is left. - [Upscale images in bulk with AI](https://webdave.app/batch/upscale-images/): Each picture is made twice as big with the Photo model, which sharpens and removes noise and JPG blocks. - [Restore old photos in bulk](https://webdave.app/batch/restore-old-photos/): Each scan is cropped to the print and flattened, cracks, scratches and dust are filled, it is sharpened to twice the size with faces rebuilt, black-and-white photos get colour, and faded ones are fixed. - [Colourise black-and-white photos in bulk](https://webdave.app/batch/colourise-photos/): Each photo gets natural colour from an AI model, laid over the photo’s own brightness so every detail is kept. - [Extract text from many images and PDFs at once](https://webdave.app/batch/images-to-text/): The text in each file is read and saved as a TXT file of its own. Photos and screenshots are read by PaddleOCR, scans and PDFs by Tesseract. - [Transcribe many audio and video files at once](https://webdave.app/batch/transcribe-audio/): Each recording is turned into text with Whisper, the language found by itself.
