What is a HAR file?
HAR (HTTP Archive) is the JSON file a browser’s network panel saves: every request a page made, with headers, sizes and timings.
Every request as a row in the table viewer: when it started, method, URL, status, type, size, time and the server’s IP address. Details lists the pages, totals, status codes, types, hosts and the slowest requests. Nothing in the file is fetched: its URLs are only text. The bar says when the file holds cookies or sign-in headers.
How to open a HAR file
- Add your HAR. Drop the file in the box, choose it or paste it.
- Look at it.
- Take it further. Open in hands it, in a new tab, to File converter.
