What is a HEIC file?
In short
HEIC (or HEIF) is the photo format iPhones save by default: about half the size of a JPG at the same look. Windows and most browsers can’t show it on their own.
The photo, read by libheif, the open-source HEIC reader, in your browser, turned upright as the iPhone shows it, with zoom and actual size.
How to open a HEIC file
- Add your HEIC. Drop the file in the box, choose it or paste it.
- Look at it. The photo, read by libheif, the open-source HEIC reader, in your browser, turned upright as the iPhone shows it, with zoom and actual size.
- Take it further. Open in hands it, in a new tab, to File converter or Batch.
