What is a Keynote file?
In short
Keynote is Apple’s presentation app. A .key file is a ZIP of Apple’s own binary parts with a preview picture inside.
The preview Keynote saves with the presentation: a picture of the first slide, or a PDF when the file has one. Apple’s own format isn’t read.
How to open a Keynote file
- Add your Keynote. Drop the file in the box, choose it or paste it.
- Look at it. The preview Keynote saves with the presentation: a picture of the first slide, or a PDF when the file has one. Apple’s own format isn’t read.
- Take it further. Open in hands it, in a new tab, to File converter or Batch.
