What is an MOD file?
In short
MOD is the music format of Amiga trackers: short sound samples and the patterns that play them, from the 1980s and 90s demo and game scene.
A player for the module, played by webdave’s own tracker player from the file’s own samples, and the list of samples with their names (where musicians often left messages).
