How to convert JSON to YAML
- Add your JSON. Drop the file in the box, or click to choose it. It becomes YAML straight away.
- Check the result. Look at the preview. The delimiter and value types are set for you; change them if needed.
- Download. Press Download to save the YAML.
Why YAML
YAML is easier to read and edit by hand, and it is what Kubernetes, GitHub Actions and many config files use.
Questions
Values like "yes", "no", "on" or "1.0" would turn into booleans or numbers in some YAML readers. Quoting keeps them as text.
