What is a P7B file?
A P7B or P7C file (PKCS#7) is a bundle of certificates, often a certificate with its intermediates, as Windows and Java export them. A .p7s file is a signature in the same format.
How many certificates and signers it holds, then each certificate as a card in chain order, with a line saying whether the chain links up. A signature file says whether the signed content is inside or detached.
How to open a P7B file
- Add your P7B. Drop the file in the box, choose it or paste it.
- Look at it. How many certificates and signers it holds, then each certificate as a card in chain order, with a line saying whether the chain links up. A signature file says whether the signed content is inside or detached.
- Take it further. Open in hands it, in a new tab, to File converter.
